Flintlock was officially announced on March 14, 2022, with a cinematic trailer and it will be published by Kepler Interactive, a publishing label jointly operated by several independent game developers including A44. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is officially set to release for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, in 2024.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is one of the most highly-anticipated games and the main protagonist will be Nor Vanel. a coalition member tasked with saving mankind from extinction alongside getting involved in a battle against the old Gods. Players would get melee weapons and flintlock firearms for fighting enemies but the ammunition will be in limited supply.

Attacking the enemy will also fill up their armor bar and this will help the players to attack in such a way that all the enemies die at once and weaken the main boss. Nor’s ammo will also become full at one point and she can use flintlock firearms to take down the enemies. A creature named Enki will also stay with the protagonist and his task will be to distract the enemies, use magic, and more. Enki’s abilities will also help the players to get additional skills.

The world where the game is set will be divided into various regions and players can also complete the side activities. There would also be some non-playable characters and some of them would also join the player to complete the quests. A few weapons also need to be purchased with the help of reputation which can be acquired for multiple times at the place where the player would die. The new abilities will remain permanent and there will be certain requirements to unlock them.
