General Hux had a different death in Colin Trevorrow’s  Star wars 9 leaked script!

After he stepped down from “Star Wars 9” Colin Trevorrow’s original script for the movie was leaked online and it featured scenes which could have made the movie much more interesting and great among the populous of fans which, now, consider the ninth movie, a failure among the other instalments.

Concept art of R2-D2 was also leaked in which the character was shown to be tired and wore out, although Colin later cleared that R2-D2 just took a bad hit.

In the script, a new title for the movie was also revealed and  Trevorrow also wrote a totally different opening crawl. Trevorrow’s title was “Star Wars: Duel of the Fates” and the opening crawl read:

“The iron grip of the FIRST ORDER has spread to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Only a few scattered planets remain unoccupied. Traitorous acts are punishable by death.Determined to suffocate growing unrest, Supreme Leader KYLO REN has silenced all communication between neighboring systems. Led by GENERAL LEIA ORGANA, the Resistance has planned a secret mission to prevent their annihilation and forge a path to freedom…”

Although the most important aspect of the leaked script was General Hux’s death scene which was more elaborate, dramatic, sensible, and darker in Trevorrow’s script. In “Rise of the Skywalker”, General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) meets his fate when he is killed by Allegiant General Pryde (Richard E. Grant) for treachery. But, Trevorrow wanted to show us something much different, a section of that scene read as:

“Hux storms into his lush chamber. Goes to the collector’s case. Removes one of his prized vintage lightsabers. He activates it and IMPALES HIMSELF WITH THE PURPLE BLADE. Hux kneels, the glowing saber protruding from his chest as First Order ships descend in smoke and fire out the window.”

Even the fans were not satisfied with the portrayal of Hux’s death in TROS, but the “Duel of Fates” version shows us a death which is fitted for a character featured in the whole trilogy, Hux could have died holding the honor of a Jedi, which he could not do while he lived. George Lucas loosely based the entire Jedi myth on the long going traditions of the Samurai, he was even inspired by Kurosawa’s “Seven Samurai” which is a masterpiece in itselfHux’s death featured in “Duel of fates” acquires a quality and an aura which seems to be inspired by the traditions of Samurai, holding on to the original idea imagined by Lucas.

Abrams “Rise of the Skywalker” was the last film in the Skywalker Trilogy and the ninth instalment of the original “Star Wars”, fans parted ways criticizing the ninth film, it was also the worst-rated “Star Wars” in rotten tomatoes and similarly with other fans and critiques. Abrams said that he was left unsatisfied with the changes that Disney made to his film. And consequently, #ReleasetheJJCut has been trending on twitter.

But, now we’ll never know what the better version of this last film in the trilogy looked like and we will be unsatisfied for our lives.

I do not hate people, but I despise their existence. Hi, I’m an actor, writer, poet, visual artist, a man of science and also the least favourite person in my family. Our beloved Hemingway, once said "There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." I believed in this quote humbly, truly and faithfully, now I have Anemia. I hope you like my works and if you do then please tell the President about it (seriously, all we want is fame).
