Graven is said to be a spiritual successor to Hexen II and the game was officially announced by 3D Realms at the Realms Deep digital event held in 2020. The glimpses of the game are already going viral everywhere and there have been no delays in the release so far. Meanwhile, the game will be released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on January 23, 2024.

The gamers would be taking on the role of a priest who belongs to the Orthogonal order. He has been exiled for a crime of retaliation against the order as he sacrificed his daughter, who was adopted. The game starts with the priest appearing in a swamp and he is taken to the ground by a stranger.

As the priest reaches the ground, he decides to take down the foul heretical sets who have conjured a lot of plagues and changes the natural order of the seasons. A total of three regions would be added inside the game and the gamers have to confront a lot of enemies. The non-playable characters would help to acquire the hints and quests throughout the game.

The game is going to feature a huge collection of weapons and spells that would be helpful for combat. The game will be available in solo play mode along with split-screen co-op and multiplayer.
