Hades 2 Gameplay

Hades 2 is a sequel to a very successful game and it is supposed to bring a completely new setting along with new characters. The game is reportedly entering the phase of early access sometime this year and sources have said that there could be some familiar faces that we have seen in the game in the past.

The game will feature Zagreus ganging his shade-slashing boots and he is now giving the charge to the chthonic nymph after being successful in reuniting his parents. The lead character of the upcoming game will be Melinoe who is the sister of Zag. She is also known as the Princess of Hell and she is tasked to go on a rescue mission where she additionally works as an assassin at the same time. However, further details about the characters are yet to be revealed.

The lead character is said to be from ancient mythology and is inspired by an underworld deity. She is said to be associated in some way with Hades. Developers have said that they are willing to explore the past of Melinoe and the same would contribute to expanding the world featured inside the game. The developers are silent in terms of the controls inside the game and more information is currently awaited.

Hades 2 Release Date

The sequel is expected to be released via early access in the second quarter of 2024. The game will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store. However, further details on the early access have not been disclosed until now. Considering that the game would be released via early access, gamers would get to purchase and play the version that is currently under development.

According to Supergiant, Hades 2 would feature more content from the first day of the early access just like how it happened at the time when the first game was released. Although a lot of details are yet to be revealed, Hades 2 is expected to match the level of the original game.
