Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3: Everything You Need To Know

James Gunn announced that he would write and direct Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 in April 2017 but he was fired in 2018 by Disney and Marvel Studios because of his controversial tweets. Later on, in 2019 he was reinstated as director, and filming for the third volume will begin once work on The Suicide Squad is completed in 2020. So, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Vol 3 is most likely to release in 2021, and Gunn believes that there won’t be any delay in the release of both these films!

In Avengers: Infinity War, Zoe Saldana who played the role of Gamora was murdered by Thanos so that he could get to the Soul Stone but a younger version of Gamora survived.

But the younger version of Gamora doesn’t remember her relationship with the Guardians, she has lost all her memory. So, fans believe that Mantis can use her powers and show Gamora her memories with the Guardians but this theory was rebuked by James Gunn in a Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 #quarantinewatchparty held last week on twitter.

A fan had asked if “Mantis’ powers could also (conveniently) work in reverse(projecting the feelings she acquired from her interaction w/ Quill as in essence memories to “new” Gamora to convince her to “stand down” when near him)?

To which Gunn replied, “Starting early? We SEE them work in reverse when she fills Gamora with fear. But memories are thoughts, not emotions. She cannot read or send thoughts, only emotions. #QuarantineWatchParty #gotgvol2”

Character Details Of Gamora And Mantis

Zoe Saldana described Gamora as the “voice of reason” in the group, saying “she’s surrounded by all these dudes in the group who are so stupid half the time” and added that she is the “mom” of the group. She also said that her relationship with Nebula is volatile.

Mantis is a member of the guardians played by Pom Klementieff. She has empathic powers and lives with Ego. She has never experienced social interaction and learns about them from the other Guardians. She has an interesting relationship with Drax as both of them are complete “oddballs” in the group.
