What is the Status of Hotel Transylvania 4?

Official information points out that the film is currently under production. Since it is an animated creation, plenty of work is required on the computer. The team of Hotel Transylvania is working hard to finish the work and set the movie for release by next year. Sony Pictures Animation announced in February 2019, that the movie will hit screens on December 22, 2021. But later, the production company shifted the date slightly above to August 6, 2021. This is a piece of good news for all Hotel Transylvania fans.

The Success of Previous Seasons and the Storyline

Hotel Transylvania made its debut in cinema on 7th December 2012, when the first movie of the franchise introduced the monsters. After receiving a great reach, the second movie reached the theaters in 2015. Within three years, another sequel saw its way. Now fans are eager to know what happens next to Dracula in the movie. They anticipate more fun and entertainment in the new sequel. In total, Hotel Transylvania earned more than $1.3 billion around the world, not by having more customers but by attracting a huge audience.

The storyline is beautifully set. We have a home for ourselves but monsters do not. Taking this into mind, the director weaved the story wonderfully. The movie takes us first to the hotel and then into the lives of Dracula and his daughter. He happily lives with the income earned by renting out rooms to monsters and chit-chatting with them. But suddenly, fear catches him. There is a reason. A young boy visits the hotel and Dracula now have to take care of his daughter and make her refrain from falling in love with the unexpected visitor.

The Plot of Hotel Transylvania 4

The new sequel takes the thread left behind in the previous movie- Hotel Transylvania: Summer Vacation [2018]. Now the hype is high to an extent that fans expect 100% monstrous plot and fun with them. However, Dracula is more concerned with his daughter. When he returns from the summer vacation, more things await him. The movie enlightens us with how he manages to run his hotel.

If the movie hit the screens on the previously determined date- December 22, we might have Christmas Celebrations in the movie. Now it is doubtful. The new sequel also gathers all monsters to Mavis 127th birthday party.

What is the Cast of Hotel Transylvania 4?

As of now, we have only two confirmations. Selena Gomez is roped in to voice Mavis. Adam Sandler is responsible for Dracula. Other members of the cast will be imported from the previous movies. Some speculations are Andy Samberg as Johnny, Kevin James as Frankenstein, Steve Buscemi as Wayne, Fran Drescher as Eunice, David Spade as Griffin, Kathryn Hahn as Ericka, Molly Shannon as Wanda, and Keegan-Michael Key as Murray.

When is the Release?

The release date is August 6, 2021. All the previous movies are available on many streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, and Google Playstore. The movie’s producers are Sony Pictures Animations and Columbia Pictures. We did not receive any detail about the official plot and cast for the new sequel. We need to note that it is on the 6th of August, 2021 the Suicide Squad 2 has announced its release.
With some more work pending on the creation of Hotel Transylvania, we can wait till next year to have pure fun.
