Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4: Movies, Release date, and Timeline

After Avengers: End Game, the Marvel Universe was all set with a massive scale to bring the Phase 4 in 2020. The superheroes movies of Marvel is scheduled to stretch till the year 2023, and beyond. However, every Marvel movie date has been shifted because of the sudden pandemic outbreak of Covid-19. Phase 4 is a difficult chapter of MCU as critics are watching closely for any subtle sign of failure or weakness. With the whole film industry delaying the release date of movies, Marvel just announced the official release dates of its line up superheroes movies, and don’t be surprised if they reschedule the dates because of the things are uncertain due to the pandemic.

Black Widow official release date now is 6 November 2020. Originally release date of the movie was 1 May 2020 which shifted because of pandemic outbreak of Covid-19. The movie is the longest gap between the MCU movies since Phase 1. Here’s the trailer for you!

The Eternals official release date is 12 February 2021. Originally the movie was going to release on 6 November 2020. The movie is almost done with post-production and filming. It’s directed by Chloe Zhao. The major cast are Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Gemma Chan, and Kit Harrington. MCU didn’t release any official trailer of the movie yet.

Shang Chi and the Legends of Ten Rings is all set to release on 7 May 2021, the original release date was 12 February 2021. The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, featuring Simu Liu and Tony Leiung.

Thor: Love and Thunder official release date is 11 February 2022. Directed by your favorite, Taika Waititi. But Chris Hemsworth won’t be returning as Thor, it is Natalie Portman. The original release of the date of the movie was 5 November 2021.

Venom 2 directed by Andy Serkis which was tentatively set to release in October 2020, but because of the pandemic outbreak, the official release date now is 25 June 2021. Tom Hardy will return as Eddie Brock facing the new antagonist Woody Harrelson’s Cletus aka Carnage.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to release on 25 March 2022. It is directed by Sam Raimi. The original release date was scheduled for 7 May 2021.

Spider Man 3 will feature Tom Holland’s marvelous Peter Parker and is set to release on 5 November 2021. MCU and Sony didn’t reveal any more information regarding the cast, plot, title, and other details about the movie.

Black Panther 2 is set to release on 6 May 2022, directed by Ryan Coogler. No other information about the movie is currently made available by MCU Entertainment.

Captain Marvel 2 will release on 8 July 2022, and no further information has been disclosed.

So, that’s all we know now about Marvel Cinematic Universe movies release date schedule. Though there are some movies that still didn’t get any official release date as of now which is DeadPool 3, Ant Man 3 and The Blade. We hope to get it soon and get out of this pandemic of Covid-19 as well to enjoy our favorite Marvel movies in theaters.
