Venom, The anti-hero from Marvel comic universe is back !! This time he is against his is up against his own offspring. Sounds interesting!! It is not just another father vs son battle whose battlefield will be earth.
Venom is a popular anti-hero from the Marvel Comic Universe and generally associated as Spiderman’s nemesis. The first part of the Venom series was released in 2018. The film was directed by Ruben Fleischer. The film is about amorphous shape-shifting extraterrestrial organisms that require a human host for their survival. The extraterrestrial organism requires a matching human host or else their bonding fails. The bonding if successful, provides the host will superhuman capabilities. The first part was about the bond building between Eddie and Venom and their fight against Carlton Drake and Riot to save the world.
Let there be carnage
The second part of the Venom series has been delayed. This time the Ruben Fleischer will not be the director for this film. He is being replaced by Andy Serkis.
The second part will see the return of symbiote Carnage. He is an offspring of Venom left on their home planet. He is all set to return to revenge his father’s doing. According to producers Carnage is a tortured soul and has kept vengeance burning in his soul. In mid-credits scene serial killer Cletus Kasady was introduced. In the sequel, he will be the host of symbiote Carnage. The characters are set and the sequel will revolve around Venom – Carnage fight.

No official trailer has been released by Sony Pictures yet. The simple reason for this is the fact that the film is delayed now.
Release Date
The film was scheduled to be released in October 2020. But due to coronavirus pandemic the film has been delayed and is now set to release in June 2020.
This is bad news for all the fans who were eagerly waiting for the sequel.
