Mina the Hollower: Gameplay, Trailer, and more!

Developed by Yacht Club Games, Mina the Hollower is an upcoming action-adventure game. The upcoming game revolves around Mina, a skilled inventor and “Hollower” who travels to Tenebrous Isle to discover why the Spark Generators she invented to power the island have gone out. The game is soon going to be released for multiple platforms.

Mina the Hollower: Release Date

Mina the Hollower originally began as a side project by Yacht Club Games employee Alec Faulkner to hone his coding and artistic capabilities and was not originally intended for commercial release. However, the developers have not mentioned any specific release date or month for the upcoming game so far. For now, we can hope to get the official release date in 2024.

Mina the Hollower: Gameplay

Just like the name of the game, the name of the lead character is Mina. Mina is an expert inventor and mouse who has made a lot of advance inventions in the world of Spark Technology. She has been a Hollower for a long time and a member of a guild whose main task is to study the entire Earth. Her best quality is that she can move at a fast speed even when she is below the ground and she uses a process called hollowing. She always has a whip called Nighstar in her possession and later enters Tenebrous Isle, the home of Baron Lionel.

Lionel is a lion who is wealthy and has also been a patron of Mina while equipping a technology on the isle which leads to a lot of development. However, a bat named Thorne is her biggest enemy and he has been the head of Lionel’s guard in the past until he and the shock troopers betrayed the Baron, eventually leading to the destruction of all the generators. The gameplay is completely different here where Mina can attack in all the directions with a whip and also enter underground to cover short distances and cross gaps. Tunneling also makes things easier for her when she performs any action and she can also use sidearms like hatchet and dagger. But she has a limitation of holding only one item at a time. Trinkets can also be used for additional navigation help.

The game is set in a world where there is a lot of anthropomorphic animals and the place where they can be found is called Tenebrous Isle. There is only one city in the place which is called Ossex. There is another place called Nox’s Bayou which is a poisonous swamp consisting of one of the generators.
