Developed by Player First Games MultiVersus is an upcoming free-to-play crossover fighting game and is published by Warner Bros. Games for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. It will feature characters from Warner Bros. Entertainment franchises.

MultiVersus: Gameplay

MultiVersus will feature a world where the players battle various stages and try to take down the opponent outside the stage boundary by facing a lot of damage. There will be single and free options available and the game will give more importance to the battle between the teams of two different characters.

A majority of the attacks have been created and other players would also contribute to strengthening the effect of the move. The game will have a perk system where the players can make changes to the characters and their abilities which will leave an impact on the partners.

Signature Perks will be available exclusively to a certain character and leave an impact on the abilities. If the players add the same perks, the effects of those perks will also get updated. A lot of characters have been confirmed to appear including Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Tom and Jerry, and a lot more.

It will feature solo playing where the gamers would get to face an opponent. There will be a multiplayer option where you can invite more players to join in so that you can complete your quests in time.

MultiVersus: Release Date

In November 2021, the developers officially announced following online rumors and leaks, that early access and open beta versions would be released to the public in July 2022 which is closed in April 2023. The game’s full launch is set for an early 2024 release but an official date is yet to be confirmed.
