The OnePlus 7 series could be unveiled on May 14. If the previous rumors are to be believed, OnePlus might also launch a new device, which is OnePlus 7 Pro along with the OnePlus 7. This launch takes place just two days before the launch of Asus Zenfone 6. Recently, the online tipster Ishaan Agarwal claims that the global launch may take place on May 14.
Previous leaks also suggest that the OnePlus 7 could be launched in three variants this time. The three variants are – OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. According to Agarwal, the model numbers for three variants are GM1901, GM1903, and GM1905 for the OnePlus 7. GM1913, GM1915, and GM1917 are for OnePlus 7 Pro and GM1920 for OnePlus 7 5G.
OnePlus 7 Pro Design (Leaked)
The previously leaked image of the OnePlus 7 Pro exhibits that the phone will sport an edge display, just like the one found on the Galaxy S10+. Preceding leaks also propose that the device will come furnished with the pop-up front-facing cameras. There are no facts about the rear cameras. Even though the pop-up front-facing camera is not visible in the newly leaked photo, the existence of a notch-less display is a strong recommendation that it will probably come equipped with it. Just like the OnePlus 6T, the OnePlus 7 might carry an in-display fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus 7 Pro Specifications (Expected)
The OnePlus 7 boasts a 6.67-inch Optic-AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 256GB on boot storage. Just like the modern flagships, the device carries a triple rear camera setup on the rear. The primary unit is a 48-Megapixel sensor. A secondary unit is a 16-Megapixel unit for wide angle shots. There is also the presence of an 8-Mp territory unit. All the three variants come running Oxygen OS built on top of Android 9 Pie.
