The plot of the show:
The series describes the process of vaccine development. It also covers many widespread disease outbreaks which affected people around the globe. It also features famous virologists and doctors. They talk about the transmission of the disease. How the medicine had to be created keeping various factors in mind.
The series also covers in brief how the government of superpowers react to the outbreak. It also depicts the ailments that follow. How the badly the economy and social structures of a country are hit by the pandemic. It also gives a detailed explanation of how the diseases actually originated. Especially COVID-19, how it caused the Chinese people to call out for a lockdown.
It also throws a little light on the possibility of viruses breaking out in the future.

The documentary series aired on Netflix on 22nd January 2020. The release of the series was perfectly timed. Some might call it eerily well-timed because of the COVID lockdown. The show has a total of six episodes. The total run time of all six episodes is 287 minutes.
