Race for the Championship: Release Date, Plot, Cast and more!
The NASCAR Cup Series of this season has been reshaped by a new car, new race tracks, and quite naturally, new rivalries, each of them depicting a TV series worthy on-the-track actions and off-the-track plot lines. Incorporating all this, NASCAR is coming with Race For The Championship, an unscripted docuseries highlighting the story of NASCAR’s top racers, on and off the track. Keep reading to know more.
Race for the Championship: Plot and Cast
Depicting the story of the NASCAR Cup season and playoffs of 2022, Race for the Championship will provide the audiences with glimpses of the behind-the-scenes lives of the famed drivers and the competing teams at the NASCAR Cup Series. It focuses on what it takes to maintain a balance between personal relationships and holding oneself up in the face of physical as well as mental stress to perform. This inspiring series is overloaded with action, emotion, and drama that reflects the taste of what it feels like to be a part of the world’s elite level of stock car racing.
The cast of Race for the Championship includes car racing drivers, namely Ryan Blaney of Team Penske Racing, Harrison Burton of Team Wood Brothers Racing, Kyle Busch of Team Joe Gibbs Racing, Kurt Busch of Team 23IX Racing, Ross Chastain of Team Trackhouse Racing, Chase Elliott of Team Hendrick Motorsports, Brad Keselowski of Team Roush Fenway, Corey LaJoie of Team Spire Motorsports, Kyle Larson of Team Hendrick Motorsports, Joey Logano of Team Penske Racing, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. of Team JTG Daugherty Racing, and Daniel Suarez of team Trackhouse Racing.

Race for the Championship releases on September 1, 2022, Thursday on USA Network at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The series comprises 10 unscripted episodes.
