RoboCop: Rogue City features an original storyline based on the RoboCop films, with Peter Weller reprising his role as the titular character. RoboCop: Rogue City was announced in July 2021, and the first gameplay trailer was unveiled a year later. The developers have officially announced the release date for this upcoming game a few months ago. It is scheduled to release for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on 2 November 2023.

RoboCop: Detroit City: Gameplay

The premise of RoboCop: Detroit City is taking place in Old Detroit. The player needs to take down criminals alongside taking part in investigations. The events are set between RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3. The lead character’s common partner Anne Lewis will also be an important part of the game, helping RoboCop in achieving his goals.

Several challenges will be given to the player, including the quests that he needs to solve and also choose different dialogues. However, the end of the quests will be dependent on the choice that a player would take as the game progresses. The player needs to choose if he wants to go for the violent way or the peaceful way during investigations. The storyline and ending of the game will also change based on the player’s choices.

RoboCop will get an Auto 9 gun with never-ending ammunition. Although the weapons of the enemies can also be used, they will remain operational for a limited time. Any kind of item, including television sets, can also be used to take down enemies. RoboCop won’t get a lot of damage due to his metal appearance from the outside and he can keep the enemies in front of him to save himself from the gunfire.

The player will get powers like night vision and flashbang shockwave. An area will be cleared in a brief period as soon as the enemies are killed and the abilities can also be updated if required. A scanning facility is also added for easier searching of enemies and other criminal activities in the city.
