Tekken 8: Gameplay, Release Date, and Trailer!

Co-developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika, Tekken 8 is an upcoming fighting game that will be published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. This upcoming game is the eighth installment of the Tekken series. Tekken 8 will focus on a conclusion of Kazuya and Jin’s enmity. The release date for the upcoming installment is approaching soon.

Tekken 8: Release Date

A teaser for a new mainline entry in the series was shown during Tekken 7’s tournament at EVO 2022, before being formally announced on September 13, 2022, during Sony’s State of Play presentation.[5] It is set for release on the PlayStation 5, Windows through Steam, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. The game is set to be released on January 26, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S.

Tekken 8: Gameplay

Tekken 8 is going to get more aggressive compared to the previous installments. Director Katsuhiro Harada has also hinted towards the same and a lot of elements are going to be added from Tekken 7. Rage system-based attacks will also be added and the Rage Drive has been updated to a new form called the Heat Smash. The Rage State would get access to use Rage Art for only once compared to what the gamers witnessed in Tekken 7. Aggression is also going to play an important role in the game.

The Heat State is going to offer more damage and moves, leading to changes in certain characters and the qualities they come with. Elements of MAX mode from The King of Fighters series have also been added and the timer for Heat State can be paused in case the move sets are used for a certain period. Destruction and character reactions are also being emphasized and a new juggle combo extender system has been added which will put the enemy to a ground-bound-like condition after falling backflip.

However, the health will be affected due to chip damage in case if you are working as a shield in front of heavy attack or Heat State characters. An attack on the opponent will help to recover the health. A battle hub lobby called Arcade Quest is also being added which will have arcade grounds, online and tournament matches, character appearances, and more.
