Developed and published by Spike Chunsoft, Shiren the Wanderer 6: Toguro Island Exploration Record is an upcoming roguelike role-playing video game. This upcoming game is the sixth installment of Shiren the Wanderer series which is a subset of the larger Mystery Dungeon series. The story is set between the events of Shiren the Wanderer GB: Monster of Moonlight Village and Shiren the Wanderer 4: The Eye of God and the Devil’s Navel.

Toguro Island Exploration Record was first announced in the Japanese version of the Nintendo Direct on September 14, 2023. The game is developed and will be released by Spike Chunsoft in Japan on January 25, 2024. It will be available in Japanese and Chinese in its release, with no news for an English release. The upcoming installment is going to be released for Nintendo Switch.

The gameplay for Toguro Island Exploration Record is not supposed to make any major changes. The players have to portray a role where they would confront dangerous monsters as they progress further. The UI will be a bit different where the full inventory will appear and notifications in the bottom. Many monsters will return from the original games including Mamel. The developers have also brought some new monsters this time.

The announcement trailer that was released recently has revealed a lot of things about the gameplay and it features RPG elements. The visuals and environments are expected to pull in a lot of gamers and there will be more clarity, making things easier. As Shiren enters Toguro Island, he will meet weird creatures who are seemingly protecting the treasure inside.
