Created by Leigh Davenport, Run the World is an American comedy television series. Run the World follows the plot of a group featuring Black women who are close to each other and have been residing in Harlem trying to establish a place for themselves in society. It is a female-centric show that speaks about friendship and the ways of surviving together.
The series debuted on May 16, 2021, with episodes. The makers have renewed the series for a second season in August 2021, which will be released soon.

Starz renewed the series for a second season on August 27, 2021, and is set to premiere on May 26, 2023. Season 2 will also have 8 episodes like the previous season of the series but an announcement is yet to confirm it.
The first season of the series premiered on May 16, 2021. The upcoming series will be also aired on Starz.

Produced by Lionsgate Television and SisterLee Productions, the makers have not shared anything regarding the plot of Run the World Season 2 but it is confirmed that the new season will continue from where the first season ended.
