American comedy-drama television series Blindspotting is created by Rafael Casal & Daveed Diggs and is a spin-off sequel to the 2018 film of the same name. Casal and Diggs are also the executive producers of the series along with Ken Lee, Tim Palen, Jess Wu Calder, Keith Calder, Emily Gerson Saines, and Seith Mann.

The show debuted in 2021 on Starz. Dreams with Friends Inc., Snoot Entertainment, and Lionsgate Television are the production companies involved with the show. In October 2021, the show got renewed for a second season which will be released soon.

Following the release of the first season, the makers have renewed the series for a second season, and is set to premiere on April 14, 2023. The series will also be released on Starz.
