Developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Tekken X Street Fighter is an unreleased video game that was supposed to cross the universes of Namco’s Tekken and Capcom’s Street Fighter into one game, creating a roster from both franchises. The gameplay of Tekken X Street Fighter was going to feature the same 3D fighting game engine of the Tekken franchise, as opposed to Street Fighter X Tekken, which features the 2D-style gameplay of Street Fighter IV.

Tekken X Street Fighter: Release Date

The game was announced at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International by Bandai Namco producer Katsuhiro Harada. The creators have not canceled the game officially but they are yet to confirm a release date for the game. However, the official status of the game remains unknown.

Tekken X Street Fighter was said to be a crossover with Street Fighter X Tekken and considering that it was linked to a popular game, expectations were sky-high from gamers. However, the game remained unreleased and gamers are waiting to witness the thrills promised by the developers.

The sources that revealed a few details about the game have been inactive for a long time. So obviously we don’t know much about the gameplay. However, the developers were planning to add 3D gameplay to attract more gamers.

The developers have previously conducted a poll on Facebook to check the characters the gamers wanted to see in the game. Although the game was put on hold at one point, a few sources revealed that around 30% of the game was complete. Katsuhiro Harada once hinted that the game had been canceled but also added that he had no idea about what was exactly going on.
