Developed by Andrew W. Marlowe & Terri Edda Miller, The Equalizer is an American crime drama television series. It is the second reboot in the franchise, following the 2014 film and its 2018 sequel, and is a reboot of the 1980s series with the same name.

The first season of the show debuted on CBS on February 7, 2021. In March 2021, the series was renewed for a second season which premiered on October 10, 2021. In May 2022, the series was renewed for its third and fourth seasons. The third season is set to premiere on October 2, 2022.

The Equalizer Plot and Cast

Season 2 ended with quite a cliffhanger. While Robyn was driving her vehicle with Vi (Lorraine Toussaint) and Delilah (Laya DeLeon Hayes) inside, the three women were hit by a car. As they tried to find their bearings, two assailants rushed Robyn, put a hood over her head, and threw her into an SVU. Unfortunately, Vi and Deliliah were helpless to stop it. However, they no doubt will play a role in rescuing her along with the Equalizer team.
