Created by René Balcer, FBI: Most Wanted is an American crime drama television series, produced by Wolf Entertainment. It is the first spin-off from Dick Wolf’s drama FBI, in whose first season the characters of the series were introduced. The series premiered on January 7, 2020. Balcer is also the executive producer alongside Dick Wolf, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski.
In May 2020, the series was renewed for a second season; which premiered on November 17, 2020. Followed by the third season premiered on September 21, 2021. In May 2022, CBS renewed the series for a fourth and fifth season.

FBI: Most Wanted Plot and Cast
Although the developers have not revealed much about FBI: Most Wanted Season 5, it is expected to continue from where the fourth season ended.
The basic premise focuses on the work of FBI’s Fugitive Task Force which relentlessly tracks and captures the notorious and dangerous criminals on the Bureau’s most wanted list. Overseeing the team is Jess LaCroix, a seasoned, enigmatic agent at the top of his game who uses his expert profiling skills to help apprehend the most dangerous criminals.
The main cast members of the series from Season 4 are expected to reprise their roles for the upcoming season to continue the tale. Further additions shall be revealed soon.

The exact release date of FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 is yet to be confirmed by the CBS network as of June 24, 2022. For now, we can expect it to premiere in 2023.
The precise number of episodes for the new season is yet to be revealed, but we can expect it to be in the same range as the previous seasons, which usually differ from 14 to 22 episodes with an average runtime of approx. 45 minutes.
