THE GIFT

Written by Jason George and Nuran Evren Şit, “The Gift” is a Turkish drama fantasy series and an adaptation of the novel Dünyanın Uyanışı (the world’s awakening) by Şengül Boybaş, starring Beren Saat, the first season of which was released on December 27, 2019.

PREMISE:

A painter in Istanbul embarks on a personal journey as she unearths universal secrets about an Anatolian archaeological site and its link to her past.

SEASON 3 DETAILS:

The third and final season of this series premiered on Thursday, June 17, 2021, on Netflix, the first episode of which opens with Atiye seeking to reach her daughter Aden, but faces a wrenching dilemma as dark forces attempt to harness Aden’s cosmic powers to bring about destruction.

The third season begins informing that it’s been eight years since Aden was kidnapped. Atiye is an art therapist, while Erhan gets fired from the university. Both the characters are together in this timeline. While we already know about Ozan’s involvement in the kidnapping of Aden, the characters are still unaware of who has done that to them.

Serder becomes repentant for his mistakes, and we saw him how he tried to get his salvation. Erhan reaches out to Serder to teach him the secret language of the protectors. and then Serder goes out in the quest to finding Erhan and Atiye’s daughter, and on his quest, he was able to know that his wife and son were still alive.
