The Liberator is an American adult animated war drama miniseries that premiered on Netflix. Jeb Stuart created the series as well as wrote the screenplay for the miniseries. Greg Jonkajtys directed the series while Jen Stuart, Barry Josey, Michael Lynne, bob Shaye, Sarah Victor, L.C. Crowley, Grzegorz Jonkajtys, Brandon Barr and Mark Apen served as the executive producers for the series.
Alex Kershaw, Lukasz Dzieciol and Natalia Lacoste produced the series. Akin Ozcelik served as the editor while Benjamin Scott Holst, Jason Todd Shannon, and Mikolai Stroinski served as the composers. Finally, A&E Studios, Unique Features and Triscope Studios serve as the production companies for the miniseries.

The Liberator: Plot and Cast
The show takes place during World War II and follows the story of U.S. Army Office Felix ‘Shotgun’ Sparks, who is a part of the 157th Infantry Regiment that fought for over 500 days in Italy, in support of the Allied Forces.
Shotgun Sparks led the members of the 157th Infantry Battalion of the 45th Division from Italy to France and to the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp. They survived some of the most gruelling battles of the war and became some of the most decorated American soldiers of the war.
The battalion was commonly known as the “Thunderbirds”, a racially mixed group of white boys from the South, Mexican Americans and Native American soldiers. Bradley James plays Felix Sparks while Jose Miguel Vasquez plays Able Gomez while Martin Sensmeier plays Samuel Coldfoot.
Forrest Goodluck plays Private Cloudfeather while Bryan Hubbard plays Corporal Hallowell while Tatanka Means plays Private Otaktay. Billy Breed plays Private Vacarro while Kiowa Gordon plays Corporal Kanuna.
