The Society season 2 is on it’s way! Plot, New Cast, Release Date and more!

Netflix’s original teen mystery drama, The Society is all ready to make a comeback to your screen with its second installment. The show revolves around a group of teenager who returned to their hometown after a cancelled trip only to find out that they’re the only people there and everyone else is gone. In a situation like this, the teenagers survive in the strange world all by themselves and thus, forming the society of their rules, and regulations.

Cast

The cast of the first season of The Society will reprise their respective roles except for those characters who died in the first season. Kathryn Newton as Allie, Jacques Colimon as Will, Toby Wallace as Campbell, Alex Fitzalan as Harry, Olivia DeJonge as Elle, Natasha Liu as Helena, Alex MacNicoll as Luke, Jack Mulhern as Grizz, Sean Berdy as Sam, Gideon Adlon as Becca, and few other cast members will reprise their roles in the next season. There might be new addition to the cast which is not revealed as of now, but it’s anticipated that the bus driver Mr. Pfeifer, Harry’s mother Karen, and Sam’s father Doug might make an appearance in the next part.

Plot

The plot of the next season will pick up from the finale episode of the first season of The Society. In the last episode, we see Grizz returning to New Ham with the good news of discovering a land for cultivation to grow crops and few turkeys to end their starvation. But apart from the good news, the political scene of New Ham was not in a good place with the expel of Allie and Will by Campbell, Harry and Lexis, apart from that, in the upcoming season, we might see Grizz and Sam’s relationship, the life of Becca as a mother, Elle attempts to run away from Campbell, and there will be many twists in the forlorn town, New Ham in the new season.

Release Date

The release date is not known yet but it’s anticipated that it will be out in the fall of 2020. Due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19 many shows are delaying their release date, it might be possible that fans have to wait a little longer for the new season of The Society.
