The Undoing: Postponed? All Updates

The Undoing is an upcoming American drama miniseries. Based on the novel “You Should Have Known” by Jean Hanff Korelitz, the miniseries is set to premiere on HBO. Initially, HBO in January revealed that The Undoing Season 1 would release for the fans in May 2020. The series stars Nikole Kidman (as Grace Fraser), is written and produced by David Kelley, all the episodes of limited series are set to be directed by Susanne Bier.

The Premise

The Undoing is anticipated to be yet another drama packed performance on HBO. The show revolves around the turn of events happening in Grace Fraser’s ideal life. Grace and Jonathan Fraser (Hugh Grant) were living the time of their lives. But one strange night, a chasm opens in their lives. Fraser’s wake up to violent death and a chain of terrible revelations. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child (Noah Jupe) and her family. All the speculations are based on the information that’s been published on HBO’s official website.

The show has filmed in New York City and Kingston, New York. Planned filming on Shelter Island was cancelled due to objections from residents.

Edgar Ramirez, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Matilda De Angelis, Lily Rabe, Noma Dumezweni, Noah Jupe, Sofie Gråbøl, and Donald Sutherland also star in the series.

Release Date

As the current global pandemic situation the airing date of the series has been pushed. In a statement to TVLine, an HBO rep confirms, “In light of current events… ‘The Undoing’ will now debut this fall.” Well, we hope The Undoing will be worth the wait.
