Developed by Charlie Grandy, Velma is an American adult animated mystery horror comedy television series. It was inspired from Velma Dinkley, who appeared in the Scooby-Doo franchise. Charlie Grandy is the mastermind behind the show and it airs on HBO Max.
Grandy is also the executive producer of the series along with Mindy Kaling, Sam Register, and Howard Klein. The series debuted on January 12, 2023, and received a good response from viewers.

The first season of Velma was released on January 12, 2023, and ended on February 9, 2023. But the release date f the second season of Velma is yet to be confirmed.
Since the first season has ended recently, it is too early to ask for a second season of it. The series first premiered on the streaming service platform HBO Max so, we hope that the new season will also premiere there.
Velma Season 2 Plot and Cast
There are no plot details available for Velma Season 2 but it is expected that the new season will continue from where the first season ended. The show works as an alternate origin plot for Mystery Inc. which is described as a love quadrangle. It puts more emphasis on Velma while she attempts to solve the mystery behind her mother’s disappearance alongside the deaths of several local girls.
