What If…? Season 3: Release Date, Trailer, and more!

Created by A. C. Bradley, What If…? is an American animated anthology series. The show is based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name. It is the fourth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios and the studio’s first animated series.

The first season of What If…? premiered on August 11, 2021. The series has received generally positive reviews, considering that, the show was renewed for a second season, which will also consist of nine episodes, and is scheduled to be released in late 2023. A third season is also on its way.

For now, it’s almost impossible to predict the release date for the third season. It totally depends on when the production for the third season starts.

The same goes for the other information too. It’s hard to say how many episodes the show will consist of. Further details are expected to be revealed soon.

What If…? Plot and Cast

There is no word yet as to the plot of Marvel’s What If..? Season 3 because it is not yet in production, just a confirmation that it will definitely be happening sometime in the future. The anthology series will continue with alternate scenarios of the heroes and villains.

In Marvel’s What If..?, as the multiverse opened and branched out into alternate realities making it more chaotic, but at the same time, offering more possibilities and amazing stories like what What If..? will cater – different angles on the heroes and villains from their origins, the events they were in, and the totality of what the universe has to offer.

This would be dependent on what happens in the second season since some alternate realities have continuing stories such as that of Peggy Carter who became the first Avenger in the pilot episode of the animated series and her story continues until Season 2 as confirmed before.

Jeffrey Wright returns as Uatu the Watcher as a whole new set of stories will unfold in Marvel’s What If..? Season 3 with the multiverse continuing to unravel itself. It depends on whom among the original MCU cast would be back to voice and reprise their roles.
