Industry: Plot and Cast
The show focuses on a group of young college graduates, mostly from Oxford University and Cambridge University, who compete for permanent jobs at the Pierpoint & Co. This is a prestigious investment bank in London, very favorable to Oxbridge graduates, but also cutthroat competitive.
Myha’la Herrold plays Harper Stern, who is a talented woman from New York. She has travelled to London all the way from America to prove she can be one of the best in the business. Marisa Abela plays Yasmin Kara-Hanani, who works in the Foreign Exchange Section at the company.
Harry Lawtey plays Robert Spearing while David Johnson plays Gus Sackey, who graduated from both Eton and Oxford. He is also Robert’s roommate. Nabhan Rizwan plays Hari Dhar.
Freya Mavor plays Daria Greenock, the Vice President of Cross Product Sales at the company. Will Tudor plays Theo Tuck, a research analyst at the company.
