From the creator of Desperate Housewives, Marc Cherry, and starring Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin, Kirby Howard-Baptiste, “Why Women Kill” is an American dark comedy-drama anthology television series set in multiple time periods, the series depicts the events leading to a death that occurs after the respective husbands of three married women commit adultery, the first season of which was released on August 15, 2019, on CBS All Access with a set of ten episodes.
PREMISE: A dark comedy exploring how the roles of women have changed focuses on a 1960s housewife, a socialite in the ’80s, and a lawyer in 2018.
Season two of Why Women Kill that premieres on Thursday, June 3, 2021, on Paramount+will feature a new ensemble cast and storylines set in 1949 that will explore what it means to be beautiful, the hidden truth behind the facades people present to the world, the effects of being ignored and overlooked by society and the lengths one woman will go in order to finally belong.
Lana Parrilla, B.K. Cannon, Jordane Christie, Matthew Daddario, and Veronica Falcon will star in the second season, joining previously-announced cast members Allison Tolman and Nick Frost.
