Willow is an upcoming fantasy adventure series based on the infamous classic of 1988 by George Lucas, titled ‘Williow’ as well. The TV series Willow will serve as a sequel to the movie Willow. The series is created by Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle, who are also the executive producers of the show alongside Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Kathleen Kennedy, Roopesh Parekh, and Michelle Rejwan. Willow: Plot and Cast
The plot of Willow will stand firm on its magical grounds, continuing to be the home of brownies, trolls, sorcerers, and other unnatural creatures. The story of Willow as reflected in the film involved a flourishing magician hailing from the village named Nelwyn, and a baby girl who was born to establish the unity of the realms. The two became partners in annihilating the evil queen and evicting the forces of the darkness. The adventure of the film continues in the tv series as a diverse troop of warriors join hands and set out on a quest full of dangers and threats, to faraway lands where their inner demons are awaiting them, only tackling whom will they be able to save their world.
The cast of Willow includes Warwick Davis as Willow Ufgood, Joanne Whalley as Sorsha, Erin Kellyman as Jade, Ellie Bamber as Dove, Ruby Cruz as Kit, Ralph Ineson as Commander Ballantine, Charlie Rawes asToth, Kenny Knight as Keene, Amar Chadha-Patel as Boorman, Adwoa Aboah as Scorpia, and Alexis Rodney as Lachlan. The cast also includes Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, Tony Revolori, Dempsey Bryk, and Talisa Garcia.
Willow: Release Date
Willow releases on November 30, 2022, Wednesday, on Disney+. No information regarding the number of episodes is officially out yet.
