Created by Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang, Young Rock is an American television sitcom that premiered on NBC on February 16, 2021. The series has received generally positive reviews from critics and a holiday special episode aired on December 15, 2021, ahead of the second season premiere on March 15, 2022.

The series is based on the life of professional wrestler and actor Dwayne Johnson, also known by his ring name “The Rock”. In May 2022, the series was renewed for a third season.

Young Rock Plot and Cast

Young Rock centers on principal moments in Dwayne Johnson’s life. We can look forward to seeing a sequel of the story picked from Season 2 onwards in which, as the United States proceed towards the election.

It remains to be seen if Dwayne will be able to fulfill his new task and responsibility as a father to his young child and still balance his political aspirations, or if his new role as a parent to his young child get in his way. His matches are enthralled, and he includes a mixture of good things and bad things as the campaign advances. It will be very compelling to see how he manages his new responsibilities.

Makers have not made any official announcements for the cast of Season 3. However, we can expect the previous dramatis personae who appeared in the last two seasons to reprise their roles. This includes Dwayne Johnson as himself, Adrian Grolux as Dwayne Johnson, Bradley Constant as Dwayne Johnson, Uli Latukefu as Johnson, and Stacy Leilua as Ata Johnson.

We will also expect to see the mother of Dwayne Johnson, Joseph Lee Anderson plays Rocky Johnson. He is the father of Dwayne Johnson, and Ana Tuisila is Lia Maivia, who is portrayed as Dwayne’s maternal grandmother.

Young Rock Season 3 Release Date

Currently, there is no official statement for the release date of Young Rock Season 3. But there are grounds for hope of the third season premiering in the early months of 2023.

Both seasons of the series have 19 episodes, and this might be the case with Season 3. While in wait, you can prepare for the long and captivating periods of entertainment as this season will have you hooked to your screen.
