Is ‘Color Out of Space’ Streaming on Shudder?
The online streaming platform, Shudder, had gained popularity over the years, especially because of it’s featuring of horror, thriller, and supernatural fiction titles owned and operated by AMC Networks. It is available only in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Ireland, with a mere monthly subscription of $5.99.
2019 American science fiction, Color Out Of Space, got the honor of grabbing a space amongst Shudder. It is directed and co-written by Richard Stanley and is based on the short story “The Colour Out of Space” by H. P. Lovecraft.
The plot revolves around Nathan and his family who battles a mutant extraterrestrial organism, after a meteorite lands in the front yard of their farm. The mysterious organism goes on infecting their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a technicolor nightmare. The movie got an IMDb score of 6.2 and 86% on Rotten Tomatoes.
