Monster Hunter is an upcoming fantasy action thriller film that is based on Capcom’s video game series of the same name. The Capcom video game was created by Kaname Fujioka for PlayStation 2. Players have to take on the role of a hunter and slay monsters across various landscapes. Some quests also involve the players collecting items, which could put them in the way of a dangerous monster.
Paul W. S. Anderson wrote the screenplay and directed the film. Impact Pictures and Constantin Film produced the film and Sony Pictures Releasing plans to distribute it. Monster Hunter: Plot and Cast
Captain Natalie Artemis, who leads an elite military force, accidentally falls into a portal with her team due to an unexpected sandstorm. This world has giant monsters which makes survival hard. None of their firearms work against any of the monsters. They meet The Hunter, who helps them fight the monsters and survive.
Captain Artemis soon finds that the hunter is a part of the Admiral’s team. Both combine forces and try to save their world from destruction.The movie’s graphics are supposed to be very similar to the video game’s. So, expect the monsters to be very realistic, ahem, similar to the game’s.
Milla Jovovich plays Captain Natalie Artemis, leader of a United Nations military team. Meanwhile, Tony Jaa plays the Hunter, who is a skilled warrior that knows how to find monsters.
Ron Perlman plays the Admiral while Clifford “T. I.” Harris Jr. plays Link. Other cast members are Meagan Good, Diego Boneta, Josh Helman, and Jin Au-Yeung.
