Hello, Readers! Feel Good stars Mae Martin and Charlotte Ritchie is back for a second season. It’s safe to assume that the debut installment of the series left a great impression on critics last year, earning Martin a prestigious BAFTA nomination for their performance.

What is the show about? When does it release? Well, to learn more you have to continue reading! Let us begin, then!

Feel Good Season 2: Release Date

Feel Good’s second season, which will consist of six episodes, will premiere on Netflix on Friday, June 4th. The first season is also available, which aired on Channel 4 in the UK.

Mae Martin is nominated for their performance in season one at the BAFTA Television Awards 2021, which will be held just two days later on Sunday, June 6th.

What is this show about?

Mae fell down a dark and tragic path in the first series of Feel Good, relapsing in her cocaine addiction and losing her sponsor, Maggie, after having a meaningless affair with her daughter.

“Is there anything you need to tell me?” she asks her girlfriend George as they lie in bed together in the final scene. Season two will follow Mae as she tries to get her life back on track, regardless of whether she comes clean or tries to hide her wrongdoings.

The official logline reads: “Mae and George’s complicated love story continues as Mae struggles to come to terms with the ghosts from her past and George tries to reinvent her present. Can they grow together or will they grow apart?” On the plus side, Mae’s comedy career appears to be taking off when a video of her act went viral online and crowds began to gather to watch her perform.

Feel Good Season 2: Cast and Characters

Mae Martin, a stand-up comedian, will once again head the cast of Feel Good, opposite Charlotte Ritchie, who starred in Ghosts and Call the Midwife. Several members of the supporting cast have been confirmed to return for season two, including Lisa Kudrow and Adrian Lukis, who play Mae’s parents, and Philip Burgers, who plays her lazy housemate Phil, among others.

“We filmed by a lake in Surrey and there was a lot of CGI in English fields! But we also filmed at a house in Oxford,” says Martin. “When I was eight, for one year I lived in Oxford and weirdly, by fluke, this house was directly across the street from the house of my childhood best friend’s family who still live there. So I went and rang their doorbell and chatted to them. It was really great.”
