Single Drunk Female: Release Date, Cast, Trailer and more updates!

An American comedy television series created by Simone Finch entitled Single Drunk Female is all set to premiere on January 20, 2022, today only on Freeform. Leslye Headland directed the pilot while Simone Finch wrote the pilot. Simone Finch, Leslye Headland, Jenni Konner, and Phil Traill are the producers of the show. 20th Television Production company is also co-producing with them. There are seven episodes in total and the last episode will air on the 24th of February.

Single Drunk Female: What is it about?

On its official website, the channel has described the show as – 

“A public flame-out at a New York media company forces 20-something alcoholic Samantha Fink to move back home with her overbearing mother; Samantha then sets out on a path to figure out her best self while confronted with remnants of her old life.”

The show accounts the tale of Carol who is in her pursuit to rebuild her life after losing her husband to leukemia. But, her 28-year-old daughter, Samantha has moved back home with her after a booze-fuelled meltdown.

Who is in it?

Sofia Black-D’Elia is starring as 28-year-old Samantha Fink in the lead role and Ally Sheedy will play the role of Carol, Samantha’s mother. Besides, Rebecca Henderson as Olivia, a fellow member of Alcoholics Anonymous, Sasha Compère as Brit, Samantha’s ex-BFF, Lily Mae Harrington as Felicia, Samantha’s drinking buddy, and Garrick Bernard as James, a fellow member of Alcoholics Anonymous will appear in the show. Jojo Brown, Charlie Hall, Madison Shepard, Ian Gomez, Madeline Wise, and Jon Glaser are also cast in recurring roles.
