Agent: Release Date, Gameplay, and Trailer!

Development by Rockstar North, Agent is an unreleased stealth action game that was originally announced for the PlayStation 3. It was planned to take place in a 1970s Cold War setting. The game was teased in July 2007 and formally announced in June 2009 and the trademark for the game’s title was renewed in 2013 and 2017, and abandoned by November 2018.

Agent Gameplay

While detailed information about Agent’s gameplay has not been revealed, reports say that it is supposed to feature stealth and horror together. It was said to be similar to Manhunt and was going to rely on a lot of action. Further reports state that the game was confirmed to have a Cold War backdrop. The move came after period settings were used in most of the games, including Grand Theft Auto V. Developers planned political assassinations inside the game and the 70s setting was confirmed to bring a new experience for all the gamers. Agent was planning to pay tribute to James Bond, another character which has been active since the 70s. A few images were also leaked where players witnessed a world which was full of ice and there was some fire burning in the front of a character. Meanwhile, players might have to wait for a few more months.

Agent Release Date

The game is to be set during the Cold War in the late 1970s. According to a press release, Agent was planned to “take players into the world of counter-intelligence, espionage, and political assassinations”. But the official release date of Agent is not confirmed yet.
