In 2019, the series was announced at the League of Legends 10th-anniversary celebration and the first season came out in 2021. The developers have renewed the show for a second season following the release of the first season. They have also revealed that the second season was in production for a post-2022 release.

Arcane  Plot and Cast

The series is based on the Riot Games’ League of Legends universe. It follows the original stories of characters from the utopian city Piltover and the repressed undercity Zaun, including sisters Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell). The first season ended on a note where it was left with lots of plot threads to be explored in season two.

As of now, there are no certain details available regarding the storyline of Arcane Season 2 but we can expect it to pick up the story from where it left off in the previous season.

Arcane Season 2 Release Date

The first season of Arcane was released on November 6, 2021, and ended on November 20, 2021, with nine episodes in total. Following the release of Arcane Season 1, the developers announced that the second season was in production for a post-2022 release.

As of the article writing, the developers have not revealed any specific release date for Arcane Season 2. Arcane Season 2 is also expected to have the same number of episodes as the first season.
