Front Mission 2 Remake: Gameplay
Considering that Front Mission 2 will be a remake, the gameplay will not go through any major changes. It will be similar to the previous installments. The enemies will be generated by AI and the aim will be to take them down in the field. Other activities include finishing off the enemy units and defending the team of protagonists.
The developers have introduced some new features this time. This includes Action Points, also called AP. The AP could be recovered after the end of a round and gamers need to manage the AP so that they don’t run out so soon. The Honor system will help the players to keep the units together in one place.
Honor points can also be collected by taking down an enemy and more honor points would help to learn different abilities, making the gameplay easier. There will be a feature called an expanded Arena where players can fight with the AI and other players to get money. Team matches are also being added where players can field various wanzers in a battle.
The players will be in control of three different individuals – Corporal Ash Faruk, Intelligence Officer Lisa Stanley, and Captain Thomas Norland.
