Assassins Creed Mirage: Release Date, Gameplay, and Trailer!

Developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an upcoming action-adventure game which is published by Ubisoft. It will be the thirteenth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The premise of Mirage will be in Baghdad in the 9th century. The lead character is Basim Ibn Ishaq who joins the Assassin Brotherhood and wages war against the Templar Order. The developers have emphasized the storytelling and gameplay this time compared to the previous entries.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Release Date

Initially, Assassin’s Creed Mirage was scheduled to be released on October 12, 2023, but later the date was changed to October 5. So, it will be available for the players of Amazon Luna, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S from October 5, 2023.

The players of iOS on iPhone 15 Pro models can enjoy this game from early 2024. On the first day of the release, the game will remain accessible for the users of Ubisoft+.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Gameplay

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be an updated version of the previous installments and the story is reported to be better this time. Certain abilities like parkour and close-quarter combat will also be added and the developers have taken inspiration from the Black Box design for the mission mode. The intention will be the same where the players need to finish all the enemies. The premise will be set in Baghdad where the headquarters of the Hidden Ones will also be found.

The game was previously set in places like Paris and Constantinople and they were bigger areas compared to Baghdad. The lead character Basim will get more weapons and tools, including bombs, knives, and darts which would make things easier. The tools need to be updated every time so that their powers are upgraded. Basim will be accompanied by Enkidu, an eastern imperial eagle who will keep an eye on the nearby places.

However, Enkidu won’t be out of danger since he could be shot dead by archers. Basim will also get the ability called Assassin Focus which needs to be recharged by passing all the levels and killing the enemies. Time will be affected as soon as the assassin gets eliminated and there will be more poles this time. The animations have also been upgraded to bring improvements to the gameplay and the developers have added certain elements from samurai, ninja, and Jedi.
