Adventure games have got a huge fanbase among pro gamers for a very long time. Gaming studios have been developing games of this genre for many years and now the list has a new name titled Arctic Awakening. Goldfire Studios is involved in the development of the game and it is said to be a combination of different genres. Although there is a lot of hype surrounding the game, a release date has not been revealed.

Arctic Awakening: Release Date

Goldfire Studios officially announced Arctic Awakening back in April 2022. The studio is well-known for its another project titled Exocraft which was also a hit among the gamers. There were reports that the game was supposed to make an appearance at the PlayStation Showcase and Summer Games Fest of 2023 but there is no confirmation available on if the thing actually happened. Meanwhile, a release date has not been confirmed by the developers.

Goldfire Studios has not confirmed a release date for Arctic Awakening. However, they have kept the game in the headlines by releasing a story trailer followed by the official trailer almost a year ago.

Arctic Awakening: Gameplay

The glimpses of Arctic Awakening have already gone viral on the internet and the glimpses of the game has appeared in the videos that have been released by the gaming studio until now. But there have been very little information available about the gameplay until now.

For now, sources have states that the game will be following the formula of a traditional walking simulator. The premise will be same like Firewatch and Kona and gamers have to explore different landscapes and find the mysteries and secrets that are hidden inside the place. The game will be set in a format of multiple episodes which will be a new take.

Developers have stated that the game itself is going to be a character in itself. There will be different areas which might not feel the same and gamers have to find the mysteries related to the co-pilot, who has been missing for a long time, and this will lead to a catastrophe where the gamers might remain stranded.
