Attack on Titan, The Japanese manga series that have been written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama is now back for another season soon. Being set in a world where humans reside within cities that are surrounded by enormous walls – which protects them from humanoids gigantic man-eating people who are called “Titans”. 

The story revolves around Eren Yeager who has vowed to retake the world after a titan bought destruction in his home town, it has been serialized in the monthly magazine of Kodansha, Bessatsu shonen magazine since 2009.

The first season has 25 episodes and was released from April to September 2013, and was followed by a 12-episode second season that was broadcast from April to June 2017, after that A 22-episode third season was broadcasted in two parts, with its first 12 episodes that were aired from July to October 2018 and then the last 10 episodes airing from April to July 2019. The fourth and final season is scheduled to be premiered in the late 2020s.

The Attack on titan was well received by critics with the first three seasons being praised for its story as well as animation and the music and voice acting and has been proved to be extremely successful in the countries like Japan, U.S, Europe, and Asia, thus boosting the series’ popularity. Political interpretations of the series have caused some controversies in the areas of China and South Korea, while it has met with acclamations in neighboring countries of the japan area. In North America, the series had been published in English by Kodansha USA, with The first volume being published on June 19, 2012.

No official date has been yet released for the release of Attack on Titan, It will get more postponed probably due to the global coronavirus pandemic. But approximately the release date for Season four will be around the second half of 2020. As per sources, the fourth season will be the last one.
