Babylon’s Fall is the newest game after Titanfall, Godfall, and many more to come. A collaborative work between RPG masters Square Enix and action specialists Platinum Games. It looks like a healthy mix of Devil May Cry’s frantic action and Dark Souls, a dreamlike fantasy setting.
Release Date
Babylon’s Fall launch date has been a long time coming since the game was first announced back in 2018 at E3. The game by Square Enix and Platinum Games was scheduled for release in 2019 but was postponed until late 2020.
Babylon’s Fall has been reported for both PC and PS4. There’s no news on a future release of PS5 yet.
What to expect?
Nothing much is known about the game except the teaser, which shows a knight battling a few, much bigger knights with swirling oversized swords. Platinum Games are known for their combat chops, and this release appears to be no different – with agile, furious swordsmanship against virtually larger-than-life foes, Babylon’s Fall looks like a medieval fantasy battle like no other.

The game uses a Brushwork Filter-giving an art-style influenced painting with amazing particle effects that give the appearance that the game is a moving oil painting. With complex combat against monsters greater than life and giant Demon Souls-like bosses, no doubt gamers are ripe with suspense, waiting for some new details on when we can finally get our hands on the title.
