Bosch Season 7: Plot, Cast and Details

Bosch is an American police procedural web Television series produced by Amazon Studios. It was one of two drama pilots that Amazon streamed online in early 2014.

Production

Amazon Studios announced on October 31,2013 that Bosch had been given the green light for production.All ten episodes of the first season of Bosch were released for viewing on Amazon Video on February 13, 2015.Portions of the first episode were changed from the pilot, including the addition of Mimi Rogers to the cast to replace Amy Price as plaintiff’s attorney Honey Chandler and the addition of a scene in which Bosch testifies in court and is questioned about his background by Chandler.On November 14, 2018, Bosch was renewed for a sixth season.On February 13, 2020, the series was renewed for a seventh and final season.

Season 6 Cast

Harry Bosch is a Los Angeles Police Department Detective and he is the main character of the series, who is a former Army Special Forces operative. Titus Welliver is in the role of Bosch. Jerry Edgar is Bosch’s partner and he is truly loyal to Bosch, who he considers to be a friend. Lieutenant Grace Billets is in charge of Bosch, but even though she is his superior she is considered one of his closest friend. Amy Aquino is in the role of Grace Billets. Lance Riddick is in as Chief of Poilice Irvin Irwing. He is a former Deputy Chief with the LAPD, and he joined the team in 1955. Madison Lintz is playing the role of Maddie Bosch’s teenage daughter and she means the world to him.

Plot

Nearly a year has passed and Bosch is still investigating the Daisy Clayton murder case. Meanwhile Edgar runs a sting on his dirty cops and Irvin Irving jumpstarts his mayoral campaign.A detail from Kent’s widow Alicia leads Bosch and the FBI to suspect a group of Sovereign citizens in connection to the stolen radioactive cesium and Overlook murder, but they clash over tactics, causing a deadly standoff.Bosch dives deeper into Daisy Clayton’s troubled past. Edgar scrambles to find evidence confirming Bosch’s suspicions in the Kent case. Hovan goes undercover to learn more about Avril’s criminal dealings. Crate and Barrel return to the Homicide table, but their celebration is overshadowed by bad news.Irving and Maddie make big decisions about their futures. Bosch and Edgar, having weathered unexpected tragedies, share bitter frustration with a system that has seemingly failed them. But with the motion hearing on the Kent murder case evidence at hand, they’re each faced with a choice: to let thing go, or to take matters into their own hands.

Season 7

There will be a seventh series of Bosch but unfortunately for fans, this will be the drama’s last.
The announcement was made by the makers of Bosch earlier this year who will be basing the next season off of the last two Harry Bosch books written by author Michael Connelly.A release date for Bosch season seven has not yet been announced.
