Chrono Odyssey: Release Date, Trailer, and Gameplay!

Korean game studio NPIXEL is popular for bringing an interesting lineup of games over the years. They are now preparing to launch a new project for the customers, titled Chrono Odyssey. The game was supposed to be released in 2022 but it was postponed to 2023 for unknown reasons. It will be compatible only for PC and further details are expected to be revealed soon by the developers.

Chrono Odyssey: Release Date

The development of Chrono Odyssey was not so easy compared to other games. It was made in Unreal Engine 4 at first but was later changed to Unreal Engine 5 for better graphics. The developers went for Unreal Engine 6, leading to a delay in release. The official release date is not confirmed for now but it is expected to arrive sometime in 2023.

Since a release date is not confirmed, there have been very little glimpses of Chrono Odyssey until now. However, PlayStation released a gameplay reveal video five months ago followed by an official gameplay trailer, which was available on the game’s official YouTube channel.

A few reports have revealed that the gameplay of Chrono Odyssey will be similar to Final Fantasy XIV. A total of six jobs will be added here and originally, 18 jobs were planned by the developers. There would be two types of weapon for each class.

The game will be having PvE and PvP for all the platforms and will be set in an open world, ensuring that there is a lot of movement. Gamers would get to confront bosses and also invite their friends to join in to ensure victory towards the end.

The weather will undergo changes throughout the game but it remains unknown if they will be only in terms of visual effects or if they would have some impact in the gameplay.

Players would also get a chance to change their weapons and they can also possess multiple weapons so that they can switch it at the time of need. Some enemies would be unpredictable and their powers and abilities remain a mystery.
