The game’s glimpse was first disclosed on March 6, 2023, during the Paradox Announcement Show this year. Cities: Skylines II is set to be released on October 24, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.

The gameplay of Cities: Skylines II won’t go through any major changes. The situation will be similar to the first installment where the basic intention will be to create a city in a land. This should be done by adding roads, services, and other things that are commonly spotted inside any city.

Some options would show the improvement of the city with time. Limited tiles will be provided to the players in the beginning but more tiles can be taken with the help of city funds. The number of citizens will not be limited to any specific number and the number could be more than 60,000. The climate can also be determined before building the city but there will be certain limitations that would be included based on the same.

It will be easier for the players to check the zones and the lengths up to which they need to extend.
