Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is going to include a lot of elements that have been featured in the previous installments. The gameplay is going to be simple but also complicated at certain times. The main protagonist of the game will be Cloud Strife.

Strife is a former Shinra soldier who is a member of Avalance, which has been fighting the Shinra Corporation. Shinra Corporation has been accused of taking away the life energy of the planet and it is currently involved in a battle with Sephiroth, a soldier who was believed to be dead. Various characters from the original game have been recreated in this remake.

The combat is going to take place in real time and the objective markers will also be featured on top of the characters. Apart from walking on foot, players would also get to use Chocobos for a ride. Synergized mechanic is also being added which will help in the syncing of the attacks.
