According to reports, the main storyline of Harold Halibut will focus on a young lab assistant named Harold. He is on an ark-like spaceship which is not on Earth and is searching for a habitable planet. The ship crashes into an alien ocean and has been unable to leave since then.

The developers have revealed that Harold is an assistant to the lead scientist of the ship, Jeanne Mareaux. A majority of the inhabitants have habituated themselves to the life inside the ship but Jeanne wants to leave as soon as possible.

There is a control toom with a lot of colors and lights. The entire world will be full of metal and textiles along with little clay characters with unique faces. The story trailer has indicated towards a lot of things but further details are yet to be revealed.
