House Flipper 2 is a sequel to a successful game. The first part was released for both PC alongside smartphones. However, there is no confirmation if the same thing would be done for this one. Meanwhile, it is confirmed for now that the sequel will be released for Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The Xbox version will be released later but the other versions will be released on the same day, which is December 14, 2023.

Bujas stated that they have made changes to the tools and emphasized on player creativity. The trailer has also revealed a lot of demolitions and repairs and remodels with new visuals. It is reportedly moving beyond the normal renovation tasks. The main repair and refurbishment elements have been retained and gamers can decide to design homes from the beginning.

A story mode has also been added where the players would begin as a rookie and the premise would be set in a town called Pinnacove. The town is a place where the time does not move so fast and the residents easily rely on the lead to build their homes.
