Is The Lord Of The Rings Gollum Releasing by 2021?

Gollum is a fictional character. He was a Stoor Hobbit. Gollum introduces in a fantasy novel. The Hobbit and became important in its sequel. The Lord of The Rings: Gollum is now set to release in 2021. The game will be an action-adventure game. Daedalic Entertainment is the studio working on the game. It will be available for next-gen consoles including Playstation 4, Xbox Series X as well as on PC.

Release Date

The game was announced in March 26, 2019. There is no official release date for the game. In February 2020, Daedalic was facing financial troubles. The major owner of the company released a statement. ” The previous business model is proving to be unsustainable and we will therefore now examine all options for a repositioning of the company”. This will definitely affect the release date of the game.

Plot

In the game Gollum will be more corrupted in comparison with the film version. The character’s dual personalities will play directly into the story. Gollum will not look like Andy Serkis this an official statement. The game will have more storytelling possibilities then movie. The character will be somebody one can almost love and on the other side somebody, you can really be afraid of.

Gameplay

The game will have a story or campaign mode. According to Daedalic’s Website, they are focusing more on narrative modes. So the game can be a story-driven less action entry to the Lord of  The Rings universe. The player will have to select between Smeagol or Gollum in various spots of the game. Overall the game will be a more thoughtful addition to the Lord of The Rings gaming.
