In March 2021, the series was renewed for a second season, which was released on July 16, 2021. On April 13, 2022, the series was renewed for a third season, which is scheduled to premiere soon.

Making the Cut Format and Cast

The new season will feature a new group of 10 entrepreneurs and designers who are ready to elevate their brands into the next global phenomenon.

The winner of the series will win a mentorship with Amazon Fashion along with $1 million to invest in their brand. They will also have the opportunity to sell their existing collection in Amazon Fashion’s “Making the Cut” store and create a co-brand with Amazon Fashion.

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn will return to host the new season. Actress and House of Harlow 1960 creative director Nicole Richie will appear with Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott as judges on the show. Additional guest judges will be announced at a later date.

Making the Cut Season 3 Release Date

The official release date of Making the Cut Season 3 remains unknown for now. However, we can expect it to premiere by the end of 2022, and a confirmation on the same will be soon provided by the makers.

The series was renewed for a third season on April 13, 2022, and so, the series might not return so soon. Everything is dependent on the production team and how they would finish the filming on time.
